During my recent weekend at Weisser Brunnen in Gotha, I immediately appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The incident with my train missing the stop was softened by Nico's friendly assistance and the thoughtful check-in process. The room was simple yet charming, equipped with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Though I enjoyed my self-prepared breakfast on the terrace, a minor drawback was the absence of plates or cutlery. The close proximity to Friedenstein Castle, just 1.3 km away, was a delight, presenting perfect opportunities for both sightseeing and sampling local beers. I highly recommend this cozy spot for fellow beer enthusiasts and unfussy travellers seeking comfort in the heart of Gotha.
